1. General Provisions and Service Provider Details
- These Terms of Service govern the use of the DoggyRadar mobile application and web service.

- Use of the Application requires acceptance of these Terms and the Privacy Policy.
2. User Conditions and Age Requirements
- Age Requirement:
- Independent registration and creation of a standard account is permitted only for individuals who are at least 16 years old.
- Individuals under 16 years of age may use the Application only through a Supervised Account created and authorized by a parent or legal guardian.
- Guardian Statement and Technical Verification:
- The Application technically verifies the guardian's session and email address (including MFA authentication or double opt-in) and records consent proof pursuant to GDPR Article 8(2).
- The Application does not conduct official government identity or civil kinship verification against state registries.
- The operator's duty to take reasonable verification measures does not exempt the individual creating a Supervised Account from liability for the truthfulness of submitted statements.
- Account and Security:
- Users must provide accurate data and protect their credentials against unauthorized access.
3. Application Features and Safety Rules
- Map and Location:
- Positions of dogs, guardians, hazard reports, and places on the map are informative and subject to GPS and network latency.
- DoggyRadar is not a substitute for direct dog supervision, leashes, physical fencing, or emergency and veterinary services.
- Ghost Mode:
- Enabling Ghost Mode hides the dog and guardian position from other users on the public map.
- Ghost Mode is a visibility filter that does not stop backend telemetry processing and does not provide total internet anonymity.
- Automatic activation of Ghost Mode for users under 16 depends on the entered birth date.
- Hazard Reporting:
- Users must submit only verified and real hazard reports (e.g., poisons, wild animals). False reports are strictly prohibited.
4. Community Rules and Moderation
- Posting unlawful, abusive, defamatory, copyright-infringing, or hateful content is prohibited.
- The Service Provider operates a notice-and-action mechanism via the in-app general safety report module and direct email contact (office@doggyradar.com), coupled with manual administrative human review pursuant to Digital Services Act (DSA) Article 14. Unlawful content may be removed and accounts restricted.
5. Liability, Complaints, and Consumer Rights
- The Service Provider ensures reasonable care in service provision.
- Complaints regarding the functionality of the DoggyRadar service may be submitted to office@doggyradar.com.
- Complaints are processed within 14 days of receipt.
- These Terms do not exclude or limit statutory consumer rights under Directive (UE) 2019/770.
