Guardian and supervised account terms — DoggyRadar
Document version: 2026-09-26-guardian-v5
Status: Draft for the next release; this does not confirm publication of new terms.
1. Scope
Provider: Krzysztof Wołosik – Javor, ul. Anastazego Wika-Czarnowskiego 1A/7, 80-365 Gdańsk, Poland, Tax ID 5922047567, office@doggyradar.com.
These terms supplement the application terms, Privacy Policy, community rules and child standards.
Users under 16 can use only a supervised account. A guardian must be at least 18 and legally authorised to act for the child. Do not supervise another person's child without authority.
2. Creation and permissions
A guardian uses an active, verified standard account and confirms creation with a fresh MFA code. They supply accurate information and separately select account, location, chat, forum and guardian location-view scopes. A feature requiring consent remains unavailable without an active scope.
Scope, version, time and technical verification evidence are recorded. A post-creation email informs the guardian; clicking an email is not a substitute for MFA on creation. Transferring supervision requires verification of both guardians and a separate confirmation process.
A child need not supply an email; an internal identifier is used. Session verification is not official identity or kinship verification. Reasonable doubts may trigger additional checks or suspension of the operation.
3. Location and communication
Supervised accounts remain in Ghost Mode on the public map. Guardian access to current location requires active location and view scopes. It does not provide the child's private messages or route history. Device GPS permission is separate from in-app consents.
GPS may be delayed or inaccurate. The service does not replace direct care or emergency services. Avoid disclosing schools, home addresses, daily routines and credentials.
Chat/forum are subject to consent scopes and safety restrictions, including adult/child contact restrictions. Report concerns using the safety module or office@doggyradar.com; the child standards describe handling.
4. Advertising, purchases and withdrawal
Supervised accounts are excluded from Google AdMob and marketing profiling. Adult purchases through Apple/Google do not remove child safeguards.
Scopes can be withdrawn in the guardian panel. Withdrawing account consent locks the account, stops the walk and starts a 7-day reversal period, followed by deletion. Account deletion does not cancel a store subscription.
Before deleting their own account, a guardian must transfer active supervision to an authorised person or close the children's accounts. At 16, transition requires the applicable independent-account checks and acceptance of documents.
Erasure follows the Privacy Policy; minimal pseudonymous consent evidence may remain only for the applicable duty or claim. Pseudonymisation is not anonymisation.
5. Contact and rights
Child/guardian rights, complaints and erasure: rodo@doggyradar.com. Child safety/support: office@doggyradar.com. Complaints are handled within 14 days. Mandatory rights described in the application/payment terms remain protected.
