DoggyRadar Child Safety Standards — CSAE/CSAM
Operator and developer: Krzysztof Wołosik Javor
Application: DoggyRadar
Status: Draft for the next release; this does not confirm deployment of new procedures or earlier publication.
Document version: 2026-09-26-child-safety-v5
1. Zero-tolerance standard
DoggyRadar has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM). These standards apply to every user and to messages, chat, forum posts, images, profiles, location-based interactions and all other DoggyRadar features.
Prohibited conduct includes, in particular:
- creating, uploading, possessing, requesting, distributing, linking to or facilitating access to CSAM, including computer-generated or altered material;
- grooming, sexual solicitation of a minor, sextortion, trafficking of children for sexual purposes or moving a child to another service for such purposes;
- sexualised communication with a minor, coercion, threats, blackmail or requests for intimate images;
- using DoggyRadar location, chat, forum or profile features to identify, contact, track or exploit a child;
- helping another person conceal, distribute or profit from CSAE or CSAM.
2. Reporting a concern
Users can submit a confidential report in the application: Profile → Report a child-safety concern. Reports are delivered to a restricted moderation queue.
A report can also be sent to office@doggyradar.com with the subject CHILD SAFETY / CSAE. Do not attach, download, copy or forward suspected CSAM. Provide only the minimum information needed to identify the relevant DoggyRadar account, conversation or content.
If a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or the police first.
3. DoggyRadar response
After receiving a credible report concerning CSAE or CSAM, DoggyRadar acts without undue delay and, as appropriate:
- restricts access to the reported content or account and preserves only evidence required by law;
- removes or blocks prohibited content;
- suspends or terminates accounts involved in child exploitation;
- protects a person making a good-faith report from retaliation;
- reports legally reportable cases to the competent authority, including NCMEC where applicable, or the relevant national or regional authority;
- cooperates with legally binding requests from law-enforcement and child-protection authorities.
DoggyRadar does not ask reporters or moderators to download or redistribute suspected CSAM. Access to reports and preserved evidence is restricted to authorised persons.
4. Protection of minors and supervised accounts
Independent registration is allowed from the age of 16. A person under 16 may use DoggyRadar only through an account supervised by a parent or legal guardian. Supervised accounts have restricted location visibility by default and are excluded from advertising and marketing profiling.
5. Misuse of reporting
Knowingly false or malicious reports may lead to restrictions on the reporting account. This does not limit good-faith reports, including reports that cannot ultimately be confirmed.
6. Contact and review
DoggyRadar's designated public child-safety contact is office@doggyradar.com.
People without accounts can also report. Identifying notifier details are not required for child sexual offences where DSA Article 16(2)(c) provides that exception. When contact details are supplied, we acknowledge receipt and communicate the outcome while protecting child/notifier information. Restrictions and appeals follow the Forum and Chat Rules. Merely changing a dashboard status does not resolve a case; moderators document the action taken.
Krzysztof Wołosik Javor reviews these standards when the product, applicable law or Google Play child-safety requirements change.
