A real-time canine social safety network
Safer walks.
Stronger local communities.

The problem DoggyRadar addresses
A digital infrastructure for the human–dog–environment relationship.
Conventional pet applications isolate veterinary care, commerce, navigation and social communication. DoggyRadar combines these domains to reduce informational delay between the appearance of a local risk and the moment nearby guardians can respond.
A contextual home screen
The state of your dog and neighbourhood at a glance.
The Home module synthesises walk status, elapsed time, distance, hazards, friends and local events. Its role is to minimise cognitive load: the most time-sensitive information is presented before secondary content.
- Start and finish a GPS-recorded walk.
- Review route history, distance and duration.
- See active hazards and friends currently walking.

Location-based crowdsourced alerting
A dynamic model of local environmental risk.
The geolocation module combines current community reports, hazard zones, missing-dog alerts and active walk meetings. Differentiated markers and geographic radii communicate the type, location and spatial relevance of each event.

Hazard intelligence
Poison, broken glass, wildlife, missing dogs and other reports are represented by differentiated markers and time-limited risk zones.
Behaviour-aware encounters
FULL users can recognise nearby walking dogs and view approach guidance before physical contact.
Ghost Mode
A privacy control suppresses public location broadcasting while preserving access to environmental safety information.
Activity and spatial memory
From a live walk to a persistent route history.
During an active walk the application records time, distance and validated GPS points. Completed activities can be reviewed as routes, supporting longitudinal observation of physical activity without turning the interface into a clinical dashboard.

Pet-centric networking
Communication designed around real relationships between guardians and dogs.
Private and group chat supports immediate coordination. The forum preserves asynchronous knowledge: behavioural experience, local recommendations and community guidance remain available beyond a single conversation.

A service layer for everyday care
Relevant canine services organised by category and location.
Veterinary care, grooming, nutrition, training, accommodation and other dog-related services can be searched in a structured catalogue and opened directly on the map.
- Search by name, address, category and service.
- Move from a verified record directly to its geographic position.
- Give locally relevant providers greater informational visibility.

Scientific and behavioural rationale
Technology as a mediator of safer, more informed canine socialisation.
Collective sensing
Distributed reports shorten the information cycle between observation, verification and local response.
Context before contact
Behavioural profiles support anticipatory assessment of an encounter and may reduce avoidable conflict.
Prosocial gamification
XP, ranks and rewards reinforce regular activity and contributions that increase community utility.
DoggyRadar is an informational and community-support system. It does not replace veterinary, behavioural or emergency professional judgement.

Identity, care and control
A profile for the guardian and every dog in the family.
Profiles connect identification, behavioural guidance, health information, family co-ownership and privacy preferences. Users retain direct control over editable data and visibility settings.
